For the 3.1 release of AnnotationHub, will the default snapshotDate retrieved (ah <- AnnotationHub()) continue to update as there are updates to the hub, or will it be frozen at the latest date available when Bioconductor 3.1 releases? Thanks

Hi Jason,

So the default snapshotDate is always the most recent one.  And when there are updates, then the date associated with that snapshot will also update.  When there are changes, your AnnotationHub metadata will also refresh to reflect that when there has been an update.
