Hi, Does anyone know if the MineICA tool can be used with RNAseq data. In reading the Eset datatype documentation it talks about microarray data but I can't see why it couldnt be used for RNAseq also. The MineICA documentation and tutorial uses microarray data too. I assume this is because it is whats available without having to build the Eset themselves. Is this valid, has anyone else tried?

Hello,

You can use it for RNA-Seq data, you would just need to notify that the object is already annotated (i.e. that there are no probe set ids to be annotated) by using alreadyAnnot=TRUE in the function buildIcaSet.
