Join our MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of York.
You will develop a portfolio of bioinformatics projects, starting with a well-structured gene expression analysis project, followed by a research project that uses single cell RNA-seq data and gene network inference, and finally ending with a third research experience on a topic of your choosing within the context of a biology lab. This year, all students won a travel scholarship to present a poster at a bioinformatics conference, where they were able to network with bioinformaticians in the region, and we will seek to find similar opportunities for students in future years. This is an excellent way to develop bioinformatics skills-- including in Bioconductor-- and gain accreditation for those skills.
