Hello, Is it possible to normalise Affymetrix chips with MAS 4.0 in BioC/R? I would like to reproduce the results in a study. The data has been preprocessed with MAS 4. In the affy-package MAS 5 has been implemented as mas5(). Is there anything like that available for MAS 4? Thanks, Axel -- ******************************************* Dipl. Math. However, IIRC, MAS4 was simply the average difference, so it would be relatively simple for you to calculate those values yourself. Best, Jim > > Thanks, > Axel > -- James W.
