Hi all, I've got R 2.0.1 Aqua GUI OS X 10.3.9 ...and cannot get plier to compile from source. It's throwing cannot find malloc.h file errors... Just wondering if anyone has gotten it to install and if so, how? Thanks in advance, Ken

just put some ifdefs around the include #ifndef __APPLE_CC__ #include <malloc.h> #endif in file plier/src/plieralg.cpp stefano p.s. I'm forwarding this email to Crispin Miller which is the maintainer of the package. Crispin, can you patch this? yes, despite the malloc.h error when installing from a local tar.gzip, it does put the plier folder into the R library folder and does load (along with deps) with no errors with load(plier)...but when calling justPlier() it returns '"Error: couldn't find function "justPlier"' i haven't had a chance to try stefano's suggestion yet.. >From: David Kipling <kiplingd at="" cardiff.ac.uk=""> >To: "Ken Termiso" <jerk_alert at="" hotmail.com=""> >Subject: Re: [BioC] Anyone get plier to install on OS X? >Date: Thu, 16 Jun 2005 08:35:53 +0100 > >Hi > >Are you referring to Crispin's justPLIER function?
