I am a research scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. My work focuses on plant diversity and 'shallow-taxonomy': population genetics, species limits, morphological and molecular identification. Recent work includes endangered species conservation, crop wild relative diversity, and pollen metabarcoding.

I am the author of the flowPloidy package, which we use for analyzing flow cytometry data to determine the DNA ploidy of plant tissue samples, using an internal (co-chopped) standard.
