Dear Colleague,
This post is to advertise a few openings for computational (but also wet) postdocs in the lab of Renato Ostuni at the San Raffaele-Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget) in Milan, Italy. Positions are for up to five years in the context of an ERC Starting Grant that will initiate in March 2018.
Successful candidates will employ single-cell genomics, genome engineering and computational modelling to dissect the molecular regulation of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in pancreatic cancer. Building on uniquely available lentiviral-based gene transfer tools we aim to develop gene therapy strategies to repurpose TAMs as stimulators of anti-tumor immunity.
Highly motivated, curious and self-driven individuals with computational or experimental background are invited to apply by sending a detailed CV, a cover letter with research interests and motivation to join the lab, and contact information for 2/3 referees to Renato Ostuni (ostuni.renato@hsr.it). Highly competitive salaries and benefits are offered according to experience and qualifications.
