Hello,

With the package DESeq2 I have made a plotMA for my counts (miRNA counts of 28 samples, 15 controls and 13 cases). Usually when I see this type of figure in the literature the logFC values (on the y-axis) are centrered around zero. In  my case they are more centered around 1 and, moreover on the x-axis the lowest mean normalized counts starts around 0.01. Does this imply that the normalization should be done differently for my data? Or should I remove miRNAs that are very low AND very high expressed over all cases?
