I have recently got an email about the package that we maintain. I fixed the issue and committed to the repository, however, I get the email every few days. Is there any way that I can commit to the live (not dev)?

Please see below for the email that I received.

Hi XXXXXX maintainer,

According to the Multiple platform build/check report for BioC 3.7,

the XXXXXXX package has the following problem(s):

o ERROR for 'R CMD check' on malbec2. See the details here:

      https://master.bioconductor.org/checkResults/3.7/bioc-LATEST/XXXXX/malbec2-checksrc.html

Please take the time to address this by committing and pushing

changes to your package at git.bioconductor.org

There is a page that tells you how to fix bugs in release and devel.

You should always check the git tutorials on the developer pages when trying to figure out how to do things with git. In addition, these type of questions are better posed on the bioc-devel listserv (bioc-devel@r-project.org), rather than this support site.

This is package development question and is better asked on the BioC developers mailing list
