Postdoctoral Research Fellowship
Deadline: Nov 4
Length: 2.5 years
The position will be held at Alan Turing Institute, the UK's National Data Science and AI Institute, British Library, London, which has thirteen affiliated universities. The researcher will be hired through the University of Warwick Statistics Department.
Project: The researcher will develop new statistical methods to help biology researchers schedule their molecular biology experiments to learn as much as possible about gene regulatory relationships, while minimising time and cost. As an extension, this could be applied to laboratory automation. The project would involve the development of interesting techniques in online learning and reinforcement learning.
