The documentation of the allow.overlaps option is confusing:
allow.overlaps - A boolean stating whether the random regions can overlap (FALSE) or not (TRUE).
allow.overlaps = TRUE does not allow overlaps, while FALSE allows overlaps? Is this a typo?
