Hi, I have submitted a package and during the build it ran an error, ERROR: dependency EDec is not available for package CTDPathSim. This package is not avaliable from Cran or bioconductor but is avaliable from Github (https://github.com/BRL-BCM/EDec). This package is essential to our package and is needed for proper functiality. Is there a way to request this package gets added to the Bioconductor servers so our package can be built?

As a Bioconductor developer, and outlined in the package submission and guidelines document, questions about package development should be addressed to the Bioc-devel mailing list.

Bioconductor packages can only depend on packages in CRAN or Bioconductor as outline in item 8 of the DESCRIPTION guidelines; if your package depends on a package that is only available on GitHub, then unfortunately Bioconductor cannot accept it.
