Hi, Does anyone now if and (if yes) how can I use goTools, in particular ontoCompare with a local install of the GO database? Thanks -- _________________________________________ Alessandro Bruselles University of Rome "Tor Vergata" Address: Via della Ricerca Scientifica - 00133 Rome - Italy e-mail: a.bruselles at gmail.com <mailto:a.bruselles at="" gmail.com="">

Hi Alessandro, goTools is using accessors build in the GO package from Bioconductor to navigate in the GO DAG, so the GO package is required to run goTools (and ontoCompare). Is there any specific reason for you to use a local install of GO rather than the Bioconductor package?
