Hi BioC 2.0 users on Mac, Thanks to Simon Urbanek who is kindly providing them, universal binaries for BioC 2.0 are now available. As for source or Windows packages, they can be installed with biocLite(). Note that a few software packages are not available as universal binaries: arrayQCplot bgx bim pgUtils RdbiPgSQL RMAGEML Rredland RWebServices SAGElyzer widgetInvoke and that a few metadata packages are missing too but will be available soon (this might temporarily prevent the installation of some software packages that depend on them, sorry for the inconvenience). We will announce here when all the metadata packages are available as universal binaries. For the Biocore Team, H.

Dear BioC-2.0-Mac users, All Mac OS X binary (universal) metadata packages are available since a few days. See the index (1102 packages) here: http://bioconductor.org/packages/2.0/data/annotation/ Browse a hierarchical classification of all BioC 2.0 packages (1361) here: http://bioconductor.org/packages/release/BiocViews.html As always, install with biocLite(): > source("http://bioconductor.org/biocLite.R") > biocLite(pkgname) For the Biocore Team, H.
