affxparser has been updated to version 1.8.1 in Bioconductor 2.0. This bug fix fixes a compilation problem related to building universal binaries with R-2.5.0 on the Mac PPC platform. Essentially the binary builds of affxparser should now work with the PPC platform. All other platforms should be unaffected as this error only pops up when you cross compile. This bug is related to the thread cleanup/Makevars in R-devel. Kasper
