Hi , I want to map a list of Arabidopsis protein ids from NCBI , to the TAIR ids . I was attempting to use the BioIDMapper package in Bioconductor for the same. The quick guide to package requires a function *type2id* , which it seems ..is missing in my installation. The other example files etc. with the package are all there. I have done some searches on internet for a solution, but to no avail .. Does anyone have this function? Or could you guide me what am I doing wrong? regards, Vasantika [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Hi Vasantika, There does not currently seem to be a BioIDMapper package in Bioconductor. Perhaps one of our annotation packages would be helpful for you? http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/annotation/ Marc vasantika s wrote: > Hi , > > I want to map a list of Arabidopsis protein ids from NCBI , to the TAIR ids > .
