Hello all, It appears that Bioconductor.org is not available: resolving its name fails. Does somebody has an IP-address for me please? Same problem here. Nslookup can't resolve the name (onnection timed out; no servers could be reached). If I run a traceroute I get as far as 63.251.179.2 but the IP I retrieve for www.bioconductor.org is 63.251.179.57. Not sure if that is correct. If you go to that web page you get a 404 error. Their nameserver is dns1.fhcrc.org, which can be pinged. The nameserver is not resolving to an IP, or the server is down. - Brian B-Tech Consulting, Ltd. Does somebody has an IP-address for me please? I don't have an IP address, but there is a bioconductor mirror (just the software, etc.) available at: http://watson.nci.nih.gov/bioc_mirror/ Sean

We will investigate and post a note when the site is back. + seth

Hello all, http://bioconductor.org should be available again. The root cause was a DNS configuration issue at fhcrc where the site is hosted. Thanks again for your patience. + seth -- Seth Falcon Program in Computational Biology | Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
