Dear Dir or Madam, I am a first-year student at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and I am doing some homework which requires "mogene10stv1cdf" in R envoriment. I can not get it from Bioconductor and I could not find it on other websites, either. Would you please help me to find it? Thank you very much. Sincerely, Luqin

Hi Luqin, There are presently two different revisions of that chip. The 3rd revision has a cdf on our website and can be found here: http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/annotation/html/moge ne10stv1.r3cdf.html But in case that is not the version that you need, you can also simply "make" a cdf package by going to the Affymetrix website, getting the cdf file and then using James MacDonalds makecdfenv package. You can also find information about that here: http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/makecdfenv.html And since you mentioned that you are a student, I recommend that you used biocLite() to ensure the versions of the packages you get match with your version of R. You can learn more about that here: http://www.bioconductor.org/docs/install/ Hope this helps, Marc On 03/26/2010 10:05 AM, Luqin Deng wrote: > Dear Dir or Madam, > > I am a first-year student at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and I am doing some homework which requires "mogene10stv1cdf" in R envoriment.
