Hi, Aric,
I moved the conversation here because other people might be benefit
from
it.
Similar to rangeGate() and quandrantGate(), an extra argument 'plot'
is
added to lymphGate() to produce plots of filter results. This update
is included in flowStats V 1.7.4 in the Bioc-devel branch.

Airc,
That's a good suggestion. We thought using 'xyplot' (e.g.,
xyplot(`SSC-H`~`FSC-H`, dat, filter=lg$n2gate)) would be easy for the
user to see the evaluation prior to adding the gate to a workflow. But
since both rangeGate, quandrantGate have an option to plot the
evaluation, it is a good idea to keep it consistent and let lymphGate
to
plot the evaluation automatically. I will let you know when it is
done.
Thanks,
Chao-Jen
