Dear Martin, Anne-Laure & bioconductor list, In BioC 2.4 there was a great method called RecoveryScore in the GeneSelector package v 1.4.0, which seems to have been dropped in BioC >=2.5. There's no CHANGE file listing any reason for this loss & google doesn't tell me anything useful, so can someone please shed any light as to why it's gone? I'm repeating some analyses prior to publication, so if its been dropped because it's buggy i'd really like to know that. FYI, Recovery Score was a method for assessing the stability of microarray results when you use different statistical tests, or via testing robustness using leave-1-out style analyses cheers, Mark ----------------------------------------------------- Mark Cowley, PhD Peter Wills Bioinformatics Centre Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney, Australia ----------------------------------------------------- > sessionInfo() R version 2.11.1 (2010-05-31) i386-apple-darwin9.8.0 locale: [1] en_AU.UTF-8/en_AU.UTF-8/C/C/en_AU.UTF-8/en_AU.UTF-8 attached base packages: [1] grid stats graphics grDevices utils datasets methods base other attached packages: [1] limma_3.4.1 GeneSelector_2.4.0 RColorBrewer_1.0-2 metaGSEA_1.0 pwbc_0.1 [6] updateR_1.0 mjcdev_0.1 sos_1.2-7 brew_1.0-3 gplots_2.7.4 [11] caTools_1.10 bitops_1.0-4.1 gdata_2.7.2 gtools_2.6.2 PGSEA_1.18.0 [16] AnnotationDbi_1.10.1 Biobase_2.8.0 loaded via a namespace (and not attached): [1] DBI_0.2-5 RSQLite_0.9-0 samr_1.28 tools_2.11.1 > [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
