Hi all, I would like to create the equivalent of org.Hs.eg.db for my organism of interest, Toxoplasma gondii. Could anyone point me toward the right direction. Is it just a query to NCBI with GeneID? This is to use the ChipPeakAnno package for ChIP-chip analysis of a non-mainstream organism. Do you think that is too much trouble, knowing it is not in Biomart? Thanks! Hi Olivier, This can be done, but it is not trivial because it involves creating an org database (see the sqlite file inside of any of the org packages) from a reliable resource. If this sounds like something that you would be up for, please contact me and I can assist.
