Hi, http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/annotation/ Almost Genome wide annotation packages following the name convention org.species.eg.db. I'm wondering why org.At.tair.db is named differently. Should its name be modified to following the same convention? -- Regards, Peng

OK. I see that eg means Entrez Gene, and sgd means SGD, etc. On Tue, Jul 24, 2012 at 10:46 AM, Peng Yu <pengyu.ut at="" gmail.com=""> wrote: > Hi, > > http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/annotation/ > > Almost Genome wide annotation packages following the name convention > org.species.eg.db. "eg" stands for "Entrez Gene", and "tair" for "The Arabidopsis Information Resource". Simon
