Can gage::essGene() use pre-ranked expression data or does it require a matrix so that two distinct groups can be compared? ?essGene: exprs in essGene should be "an expression matrix or matrix-like data structure, with genes as rows and samples as columns." Same is true, for example, for the function 'esset.grp()'. In this case I can use a pre-ranked list for 'exprs'. But I couldn't figure out how to do this for essGene(). In the latter case I get "incorrect number of dimensions". So I need to tweak the input, question remains, how... Thanks Chris [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
