Dear List, During GCRMA using simpleAffy package for some array data (>30) it is showing: "Error: cannot allocate vector of size 372.1 Mb" R environment is as follows: R version 3.0.1 (2013-05-16) -- "Good Sport" Copyright (C) 2013 The R Foundation for Statistical Computing Platform: i686-pc-linux-gnu (32-bit) The system has 4GB RAM. During running the GCRMA free memory size is more than 372.1 Mb. How may I solve this problem? With regards. [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

You can solve the problem by installing more RAM or using a computer that already has more RAM. Or, perhaps running a 64-bit version of R would do the trick (assuming the OP) is on a 64bit machine Also the aroma affeyrix suite of packages might be helpful HTH, -Steve On Monday, July 15, 2013, James W.
