Dear VariantTools/gmapR users: I'm thinking about removing the following columns from the mcols() of the output from tallyVariants (and variantSummary in gmapR): read.pos.mean, read.pos.mean.ref, read.pos.var, read.pos.var.ref, n.read.pos, and n.read.pos.ref. Has anyone found these statistics useful? I haven't, especially with the new mdfne (median-distance-from-nearest-end) statistics. Thanks for any feedback, Michael [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
