Dear lumi maintainers,

Is there any chance that we have the lumiHumanIDMapping and lumiHumanAll packages for R-3.1.2 soon? I have been forced to upgrade my R installation due to a some packages conflicts and I can't be able to run those packages since them. I'm trying to install different R versions as slot on Gentoo but without success until now. Also, I have trying to use the Illumina manifest files to map probe to gene information, however, most of genes list were not identified. Any overcome to that is welcome.

You have to give us a little bit more to go on if you want us to be able to help.  A good thing to look at is our posting guide which can give you some excellent tips for that.  What I can tell you is that the following works:

biocLite(c("lumiHumanIDMapping","lumiHumanAll.db"))

Meaning that these packages are both present in the latest release.

Question: For lumi package users: Change the names of Illumina ID mapping packages
Hi,

This email is just to notify the users of lumi package and Illumina ID
mapping packages. To be better compatible with the naming convention
of Bioconductor annotation packages, we renamed the Illumina ID mapping
packages by removing the ".db" suffix. For example, package
"lumiHumanIDMapping.db" has been renamed as "lumiHumanIDMapping". If
you want to use this renamed packages, please also update your lumi
package.
Other things keep the same.

Have a nice day!

Pan
