Hey Community,

 

If I upgrade DexSEQ versions, will all of the files generated using the older version still be usable with the newer version?  Think major version - like from 2.15 > 3.x

Looking at the NEWS file that you can find in the package would be helpful here, and if you do so you can see that there have been a handful of what seem to be major changes to the package, but there's no better way to figure this one out than trying for yourself ;-)

Also, there is no 2.15 or 3.x version of DEXSeq ... I guess you are referring to changes in the R versions (which are accompanied by changes in Bioconductor versions, and therefore changes in DEXSeq package versions), but it's not necessarily the case that there are major revisions to the package that track with changes in R/Bioconductor versions (again, cf. the NEWS file).
