DESeq2 manual (http://bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/vignettes/DESeq2/inst/doc/DESeq2.pdf) says, on page 34:

By default these log2 fold changes are the maximum a priori estimates after incorporating a zero-
centered Normal prior...

Should the "a priori" above be "posterior", or am I missing something in Bayesian estimation theory?
