Hello everyone,

Now I am using Gviz to plot data from S. cerevisiae. My data belongs to a specific strain which does not have genome in UCSC. Even if using sacCer3, there would be error "There doesn't seem to be any cytoband data available for genome".

In one post, I saw "I think it should do something smarter, e.g. use the chromosome length information that should be available for every UCSC genome to draw at least a blank ideogram which could still be used to indicate the current plotting position."

Could anyone tell me how to draw a blank ideogram?

Thanks

Hi Doris, it should be fixed in the devel version of Gviz.
