I am having difficulty loading .RData files into ChAMP. I have read all the documentation and understand how to use champ.load to load in .idat files however I cannot figure out how to load in data from files other than .idat files. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, thank you for your response. I suppose the issue is that it is not in the right format as when I load the RData file, the ChAMP commands will not work. I am sorry to ask such a basic question but I cannot seem to figure out what the right format is for the ChAMP functions from any of the package information, how can I ensure this data can be loaded into ChAMP appropriately? Thank you.

Hi. If you have data saved in the correct format in RData files you should be able to simply load them using load(file.RData) and manipulate them for normalisation and the other functions as you would if they had come from idat files (you would not need champ.load). If you need more detailed information please email me at champ450k@gmail.com On 5 October 2015 at 22:03, huronrm [bioc] <noreply@bioconductor.org> wrote: > Activity on a post you are following on support.bioconductor.org > > User huronrm <https: support.bioconductor.org="" u="" 8931=""/> wrote Question: > Loading RData files into ChAMP <https: support.bioconductor.org="" p="" 72980=""/>: > > > I am having difficulty loading .RData files into ChAMP.
