I would like to know how to generate an interaction heatmap, like the one is generated with plotPlaid, after normalizing the input data. More precisely, I would like to generate a heatmap after iterative correction of interaction intensities (correctedContact).

Use plotDI and give it the normalized interaction intensities for each bin pair as fc. It's probably best to log-transform the interaction intensities and rescale them to have a mean of zero, in order to get a sensible visualization. High-intensity interactions will be red, and low-intensity interactions will be blue.
