unable to connect Bioconductor website from R!

Hi, I'm unable to connect Bioconductor website from R.My computer is behind the proxy server. But I've configured my .Renviron file and given the proper environment value for http and ftp. Its like this http_proxy="http://login:passwd@//vsnlproxy.iitk.ac.in:3128/" ftp_proxy="http://login:passwd@//vsnlproxy.iitk.ac.in:3128/" Can anbody tell me what am I missing? Thanx in advance. Hi, Here is the details.. Platform :- linux Mandrake10.1 R-version :- 2.0.1 unable to access any web resources. May I suggest you repost your question to R-help? I don't have experience using R with the web proxy settings and it seems pretty clear that is where your problem lies. Also, try rereading the help for download.file: help(download.file) As it describes how to configure your environment to utilize an HTTP proxy that requires user/password authentication.
