Biobase version 1.0 on windows XP...

When I went to the window option to install the package from zip it = installed the file in the correct place. Then when I went to the window = option to load the package I recieved the following error: Loading required package: methods=20 Creating a new generic function for "[[<-" on element=20 2 of the search path=20 Making a generic for special function "[[<-"=20 Creating a new generic function for "[[" on element 2=20 of the search path=20 Making a generic for special function "[["=20 Expanding the signature to include omitted arguments=20 in definition: j =3D "missing"=20 Creating a new generic function for "length" on element=20 2 of the search path=20 Making a generic for special function "length"=20 Creating a new generic function for "[" on element 2=20 of the search path=20 Making a generic for special function "["=20 Error in conformMethod(signature, mnames, fnames) :=20 Method has formal arguments not in generic function: file, = append, quote, sep, eol, na, dec, row.names, col.names, qmethod Error in library(pkg, character.only =3D TRUE) :=20 .First.lib failed because of this error the package could never attach itself. Does = anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it? You need to either install RSMethods (from www.omegahat.org) or upgrade to 1.5.
