I have a very general question- Is it possible to sort Bioconductor search results  by date? I've noticed that the answers in older threads are sometimes no longer relevant due to updates in the packages about which the question was posted. It would be great to see the most recent posts on a search topic. Thanks! 

I have never found the search engine for the support site to be very useful. As you note, the sorting of the results is less than optimal, and it can be frustrating to find a particular post, even when using what should be reasonable search parameters.

You will probably get better results by doing a google search and including site:support.bioconductor.org in the search string.
