Hello,

I'd like to help add CpG island and gap track information for hg38, mm10, and rn6 to the AnnotationHub package, but, honestly, I'm confused by the documentation. I know exactly where all the data I want to import is, and I'm capable of creating the GRanges objects that would eventually be returned by the package, but I just don't understand the process set out in that documentation. Could someone involved in the package please help guide me in this process? It would be great to understand how this helpful infrastructure works.

The vignette you cite is out of date - the current landing page for AnnotationHub is here. To add data to AnnotationHub you'll want to follow the AnnotationHubData vignette, Introduction to AnnotationHubData. The first step in the process (you'll see after reading the vignette) is to contact packages@bioconductor.org.

For future reference, you can find current documentation on the release and devel build reports.
