Hello,

I'm an using an interaction model to identify age:genotype interaction effects on gene expression. When visually inspecting some of these interaction model genes, I've noticed that some regression lines don't actually intersect during the time points I have data for, but they would intersect if the regression lines continued to infinity. Here's an example example

Is there a way to detect these genes specifically in DESeq2 and remove them before continuing with downstream analysis?

This is fine that the trends don’t intersect — that is not what interaction terms are used to detect.

No we don’t have a test for intersecting trends.
