The release of Bioconductor 3.6 will be Tuesday, October 31. Please see the schedule for details: release schedule

Some important deadlines that are coming up:

Friday October 6 is the deadline for new package submissions. Packages submitted before this date,

the core will try and work with to get the package through the acceptance process before the deadline. Packages submitted after this date will not make it into the upcoming release Bioc3.6 but will still be considered for Bioconductor devel Bioc3.7.

Tuesday October 17 is the deadline for contributed annotations. If you maintain an annotation resources this will be the final date for updates and new submissions.
