Dear all I was trying to work on some examples using Lymphoma (Alizadeh et al :http://llmpp.nih.gov/lymphoma/). However, I did not find this lymphoma package anywhere. I see there are lot of cDNA files. what is the procedure to convert these files into a lymphoma package. or Is there any other way to read all the raw datafiles into R and work on them instead of using lymphoma package. Where can I find the steps in this procedure. Please help me and I am very stuck. thanks srini

Dear Srinivas, I am afraid you need to be more specific with your complaint, if anybody is supposed to help you. Which package + version number were you using, and what exactly are you trying to do, and what is the error message you get? I think you are having difficulty in locating the dataset because you are probably looking for a package specifically names 'lymphoma'. There is no reason for anyone to dedicate a package just to a dataset, so searching for lymphoma on http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/nmz.html gives DLBCL(ipred) Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma DLBCL(maxstat) Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma lymphoma(vsn) Intensity data for 8 cDNA slides with CLL and DLBL samples from the Alizadeh et al. paper in Nature 2000 The most comprehensive of these is the one in Wolfgang Huber's vsn package. They have only used a subset of 8 arrays but they do provide the scripts and information on how to obtain and preprocess the files. You can try to use this information.
