Dear all,

I have got a problem with mzR and BiocInstaller. I wanted to run mzR and troubles occurred with current versions.

Warning message:
In fun(libname, pkgname) :
  mzR has been built against a different Rcpp version (0.12.19)
than is installed on your system (1.0.0). This might lead to errors
when loading mzR. If you encounter such issues, please send a report,
including the output of sessionInfo() to the Bioc support forum at
https://support.bioconductor.org/. For details see also
https://github.com/sneumann/mzR/wiki/mzR-Rcpp-compiler-linker-issue.

I wanted to fix it via BiocInstaller and it is not available for my R version.

Warning in install.packages :
  package ‘BiocInstaller’ is not available (for R version 3.5.1)

Could you help me to fix that problem. Many thanks Petr

Also, the message is rather a warning than an error. mzR will most likely work as expected.

The city by the bay

Try BiocManager::install("mzR"), as suggested here.
