I'm trying to perform promoter analysis. I would like to have output of putative elements by scanning a promoter sequence. Need help to start working on it.
There is a vignette for TFBSTools that seems pretty comprehensive. Have you read that?

If you are "totally new' to programming, then I suggest that you seek help and guidance from your supervisor. Try not to do too many things at the same time. You first need to develop programming skills so that you can better understand what you are doing.
