Hello, I installed package motifcounter using BiocManager, and I get this error when running function numMotifHits, even though I can see the function in the help pages: Error: 'numMotifHits' is not an exported object from 'namespace:motifcounter' What could be the problem? Thanks

Hi, the reason is that this function is not exported, because it is meant to be used internally. But if you want to use it nevertheless, you can use it via motifcounter:::numMotifHits. Best
