There is a staff position at the EBI in Cambridge/UK for a scientific programmer working on Bioconductor-related projects. We are looking for someone who is able to take a role in the development of Bioconductor, including contributions to infrastructure packages, inter-package data structure design and "user experience" aspects, interfacing with the user and developer community and co-organizing training workshops. Excellent software engineering skills, fluency in R and C (+ some other languages), and an overview over scientific computing libraries are required.
