Hi Guys, I have been playing about with the Gviz package and am currently wondering if there is a way to place the text horizontally in the left-hand title.panel? Thanks, Graham

Hi Graham, Glad I am not the only one with such need, in fact some months ago I have this brought up with Florian, the author. Currently the name of the track is rendered with a hard coded argument "rot=90" using grid.text(). Before there is an immediate solution, like adding a new parameter 'title.rot', you may have to fork it a bit and do some scaling with the space available horizontally. Hi Graham, Dan, I just submitted a patch to the devel branch (v 1.5.13) that adds the 'rot.title' display parameter. If you set this to 0 the text will be plotted horizontally. Please note that currently the text rotation is not evaluated when the optimal font size for the title font and the title panel width is computed, so you will have to play with this a bit. The cex.title and title.width parameters should be helpful for that.
