Hi,

I am confused by this sentence in the vignette for RNASeqPower:

"The depth of sequencing and consequent expected count µ for a given transcript, argument
depth."

I don't understand how Mu and depth can be used interchangeably. Should this just be the number of reads mapping to a transcript or does this value need to be normalized by transcript length and read length?

cheers,

Ruben

From looking at the code, I believe depth = mu = number of reads.
