Entering edit mode
The function .getNcbiURL() called by the function pubmed returns: "http://www.ncbi.nih.gov/" .
I wonder if it should be changed to "http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/" as it has changed since Dec 1st. 2014

Can you please add the output of
library(annotate); sessionInfo()to your post? I believe you are using an out-of-date version of Bioconductor
