Hi all,
I'm hoping to submit a few experimental data packages to the upcoming release. Can someone remind me what the procedure is? I imagine that the review process is not as strict as for software packages.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark -- they need to submitted to the tracker. They do need to pass R CMD check and R CMD BiocCheck (after biocLite("BiocCheck")
). They will be looked at by a previewer, though the previewer will be sympathetic to appropriate deviations from the guidelines, especially about data size and build times.
If the data is large (more than a couple of hundred MB?) then feel free to contact me martin.morgan at roswellpark.org about alternative approaches to uploading to the tracker.

Thanks for the reply. Each package should be less than 100Mb, so no need for anything special
