Im totally new to bioconductor and microarray data analysis. I downloaded the colonCA and golubEsets datasets. What preprocessing methods do I need to apply on these? (log2 transform? normalization?) Im trying to classify them using Random Forests.

Both datasets are simply re-packaged public data, and the help pages for each give you a link to the original data and paper which you can read to see what processing has already been done.
