Hello all, I would like to know if it is possible to convert an NCBI protein (eg. CPB2) or NCBI accession number (eg. NP_001265470.1) to its cDNA and NCBI gene form. For CPB2, these would be NM_001278541.2 and NG_032893.2 respectively. I found these values in the NCBI Reference Sequences (RefSeq) tab of the CPB2 NCBI page, and would like to know if there is an R package that allows me to convert a gene symbol or an accession number into one (or both) of these values. I am using R studio. Thank you in advance, Rob.

I already showed you how to do this for gene symbols, and it's analogous for any other annotation ID. Please see the AnnotationDbi vignette for more information.
