We are still accepting nominations for Bioc2024 Awards!! Please recognize an outstanding member of the Bioconductor community.

Bioconductor is excited to announce an opportunity to recognize those making significant outstanding contributions to the Bioconductor community. The Bioconductor project is announcing the call for Bioconductor Awards, honoring various forms of contributions to the project. Four awardees will be selected, each having contributed to the project in an outstanding way based on one or more of selection criteria. More information and details See BiocAwards Website. Please fill out the following form to nominate someone. The deadline for nominations is May 15, 2024.

Award criteria can include but is not limited to:

• Outstanding new package contribution
• Outstanding contributions on Bioconductor help site (support site, slack, issues, etc)
• Outstanding community engagement and outreach
• Outstanding long term contributions to the project
• Outstanding contributions enabling computation analysis or representation of data from new technologies (scientific or informatics)
• Outstanding teaching and workshops

We also dedicate one award to a junior developer or new package development. Please consider nominating someone who is contributing in your labs.
