Hi

I'm wondering if T test can be used for differentiation expression analysis with RNAseq data, and which one is better for DE analysis, T test or negative binomial model (test /  distribution), and why?

Thanks,

HyunJun

Just read some papers, e.g.

Anders, S. and Huber, W., 2012. Differential expression of RNA-Seq data at the gene level–the DESeq package. Heidelberg, Germany: European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).

Law, C.W., Chen, Y., Shi, W. and Smyth, G.K., 2014. Voom: precision weights unlock linear model analysis tools for RNA-seq read counts. Genome biology, 15(2), p.R29.
